In 1847 it was originally believed that tagliatelle was created when a chef decided to honor a bride-to-be by creating a new never before seen pasta shape in honor of her famous blonde hair. A wavy, ribbon-like pasta that is perfect with creamy sauces. traditionally used in stroganoff, it is also delicious with a chunky, well-flavoured sauce.
